Dowsing is an ancient form of sensing the energy level, or qi level of the environment.
It is an important part of traditional Feng Shui in China,  and is a requirement for Diamond Feng Shui.

Dowsing allows a practitioner to locate and cure electromagnetic and geopathic stress lines that interfere with the comfort and qi levels of an environment. Most people are able to feel the settling of their environment that results from the dowsing cures.

In modern times, dowsing is used to locate water. But in ancient times, the Druids and Feng Shui masters  dowsed to locate energy lines in the environment.

Diamond Dowsing dowses for the following:

Geopathic stress lines. Shifts in the the Earth caused by earth quakes, underground moving water, or  different soil types are called geopathic stress lines.  These shifts cause a stress line in the Earth's energy field which is felt as unrest in the environment.  Geopathic stress is associated with a depletion of the immune system and a greater incidence of disease.

Hartmann and Curry Lines. These lines on the earth are not harmful in themselves.  They are natural energy lines that connect the earth's acupuncture points. However, when they become infected with electricity, they are called negative hartmann lines and negative curry lines.

Interference lines.  These lines are a modern phenomenon, caused by cell phone towers, radio towers, etc.

Personal zones. These lines have to do with the electricity in the walls of the building and their interaction with the electricity in the body.

Negative vortexes. Caused by lay lines of the earth crossing at an oblique angle, these vortexes drain energy from a space.
